Acrostic Poems Anthology
Remember Red Nose Day for all the help we give to children.
Every day there's someone to help,
Day in day out we find left over money to give to people.
Never forget to be kind,
Only with our help, we can make a difference,
Stopping the illnesses that the poor people might catch,
Every penny counts.
Deciding where the pennies go,
Always being kind,
Yes! Without delay, give today.
Emily Adams - Beech Class
Red noses
End of the week
Dressing up
Noisy children
Offering cakes
Some people give money
Enormous amounts of money
Doing juggling with Mr Robertson
Absolutely fun, fun, fun
Yay, the day is just beginning.
Jordan Fox - Ash Class
Rhinos are wrinkly,
Elephants are grey.
Dogs can be spotty,
Newts never play.
Ostriches have big feet,
Snakes have no feet at all.
Eagles have huge wings,
Ducks' wings are small.
Animals are funny, different and strange,
Yet we are the funniest animals of all.
Poppy Meager - Oak Class
Ridiculous hair styles
Enormous noses in piles
Demanding teachers
Noisy children, all with features
Opening the Mad Hatter's tea party
Some people raising money, but don't get tarty
Everyone is wearing red
Doing the Dick and Dom dance, from their toes to their head
All of the children wear their favourite shirts
Yesterday was red nose day- oh that hurts!
Amelia Rippin - Ash Class
Red Nose Day
Every two years, its greeat to pay!
Dancing and juggling all around,
Nice to see some look like clowns!
Over the many years,
Some have confronted their fears.
Each for an excellent cause,
Donating money, just to open doors.
And so we've had a fabulous time,
You and I watched, as those celbs completed the climb!
Charlotte Oakman - Ex-pupil
